James Thigpen and Justin Bozonier discussed their efforts to bring a tiny bit of a Lean into a non-agile workplace.

One focus can be on increasing visibility of development work in an organization in which there is very little visibility into what people are doing. The hope is that it's a "Lead by Example" sort of arrangement.

My favorite statement from this session came from Wayne Allen, who said "As a manager if my work queue is overflowing I know that I'm not delegating enough."

This hit home for me. I am a manager and have tried to implement personal Kanaban, but quickly got overwhelmed with the huge stack of sticky notes in my queue.
